Vacationers can reach the island of Paros by plane via Athens International Airport El. Venizelos and Macedonia Airport of Thessaloniki and by ferry or high speed boat from the ports of Piraeus and Rafina. During the summer months ferries link the island of Paros to other islands of the Cyclades and Crete as well as Thessaloniki and Volos.

Exploring Paros island involves visiting the traditional settlements and villages, the archeological sites, the secluded little chapels “ksoklissia” and the beaches as well as walking along the ancient paths from one area to another.
The way to explore the island is either by public bus, by car, by motorbike or by bicycle. The island’s road network provides good access to most areas. The main road runs around the island while smaller roads lead to all villages. More secluded areas can be reached on foot while several beaches can be reached by boat. Please consult our reception team for the buses’ timetable as well as for daily excursions to beaches or to the island’s main attractions. For those who wish to explore the island on their own pace, cars, motorbikes and bicycles are available for rental in the major towns of Parikia and Naoussa.
